Dr. Rohan Gopinath is a board-certified & fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive primary joint replacement and revision joint replacement. Dr. Gopinath obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI. He then completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center/Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD. Finally, he completed fellowship training in advanced joint replacement including techniques in robotic-guided surgery as well as direct anterior hip replacement at the Northshore Orthopaedic & Spine Institute.
Dr. Gopinath treats a comprehensive list of injuries and conditions that pertain to the hip and knee. His main goal in treating patients is to make sure they fully understand both the nature of their problem and all treatment options available to them. He strongly believes in maximizing non-operative treatment before proceeding with surgery. As a hip and knee reconstruction orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Gopinath focuses on restoring his patients to their optimal functional ability.
